We are so excited to be bringing back our annual “Splash For The Kids” Powerboat Poker Run for the fourth year in a row! Mark your calendars for July 31, 2026 to see fast boats, a poker run, prizes, entertainment, and food & drinks.

The co-founders are two long-time boating industry business owners—Chip Miller of Miller Marina and Eric Lafata of Lafata Custom Paint. Both men lost their fathers at an early age which has led them to support other children who have lost their parents.

At our last poker run, over 200 people attended in over 40 fast boats! We were able to raise over $20,000 and the proceeds benefitted Tennessee Children’s Home.

This year, Chip, Eric, and Chef Bobby plan to increase the visibility for the “Splash for the Kids” event by hosting our poker run event at HOOK in St. Clair Shores, with a few other stops along the way. Proceeds from this year’s events will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research hospital to help further their mission: Finding Cures. Saving Children.
